It has been awhile....

Hello everyone, sorry it has been so long since my last update! I always think about updating, but then realize I don't have a whole lot going on.  I do love that it is finally getting warmer, we still have days where it is cold or wake up with snow on the ground.  But I am ok with that because it goes away pretty quick.

Both of my nephews have started playing baseball this spring and they are really enjoying that.  Kolby went straight to coach pitch and is doing pretty good.  He is probably the smallest on the team, but he sure can hit it hard.  His team has not lost all year and they beat everyone by at least 25 or more, its crazy.  Benton is playing tee ball and loves it.  I have not been able to see him play, but hear can hit the ball hard.   They both are getting so big and I love being able to see them all the time.  Brynlee and Baylor are still dancing and go to nationals in June.  I have gone to 2 competitions this year and they always do great! Both of them just smile and really can dance good! Laney has not gotten into dance or anything yet, but she wants to learn how to play basketball.  So of course Aunt Danielle is gonna try and teach her this summer!! I am looking forward to that and to see if she really enjoys it!! All 5 of them are soo cute and I love them so much and enjoy being around them!! And my friend HollyPs little boy Maddox is like another nephew to me and he is getting soo big and talkative!! The kids just love being with Maddox.

For an update on me, I went to Vegas at the beginning of April and got kidney stones the first night I was there.  I had to go to the hospital for about 2 hours and yes I rode in an ambulance there!  I had to take the public bus back to the hotel at about 7 am Monday morning! It was a long week and had many nights of pain, but I think I ended up passing them the night I got back home! Kidney stones are sooo painful and I do not want to experience them again! Other then that Vegas was a lot of fun and relaxing. It was good just to get away for a couple of days!!

So, I am officially going to Ghana, Africa this summer!!!!! I bought by ticket last week and I can not wait! I will be going June 28th-July 7th! I am going with a non-profit organization called Mercy Project. You can go to Mercyproject.net and see what it is all about.  So now I just have to get my shots and visa ready to go.  Please pray for that trip and that we will bless the kids and people we come in contact with while we are there.

Well, that is about all that is going on in my life! I will try and update more often.  Oh yea, I am just waiting for my good friend HollyP to have her little girl soon, Miss Addison Grace Packer!! She is due June 6th!! Cant wait!!!

So over the snow...

Hello, sorry it has been a long time since I updated my blog.  Not a lot has been going on just coaching still and that is almost over.  Only about 2 weeks left then I do not know what I will do with all my free time.  Basketball has been rough this year, I really enjoy my girls and have a lot of fun with them but I only have 5 on my team now.  A lot of them have quit for some crazy reasons, but you know if they don't want to play and be committed  I don't them on my team.  So, I have gone through a lot of ups and downs with them. But mostly if I can be more of a mentor than a coach to them I am happy!

So once basketball is over, I am not sure what I am going to do. I have been thinking a lot about different things I could do. I feel like I should know and have my career planned out for me but I don't. I am looking forward to having a little bit of free time but I don't know how long I can go without doing anything.  So I will keep everyone updated.

Other than basketball nothing is going on, I just keep getting stronger everyday.  My friend HollyP found me a song by Sara Evans called A Little Bit Stronger and I have been listening to that a lot.  It is by far my new favorite song, for now at least. HA!!! I just keep praying and following my heart! God has a plan and I just need to keep on following it!!

Oh ya, I am so over the snow and winter! I am soooo ready for it to be warm so I can wear dresses and shorts and flip flops.  It has been soooo cold this week!! Stay warm everyone!!!

New Year equals New Start..

Happy New Year!! I can't believe its already a new year, where did last year go.  Last year had a lot of ups and downs.  But you know everyone has to go through good and bad times to learn and move forward. I look back at the year and realize God has a plan for everything and sometimes it is hard to think that, but he does. And we should never doubt that. Yes my heart tells me something different then my head but I have to know God is there!

Also, in 2010 my friends and family were a huge support in my life. I got closer with them and they were always there for me.  Probably the biggest things that happened last year was going to Hungary with the church in July for a week and seeing how God works in other countries. Going to Hungary opened my eyes to a lot of new things.  Also, being the maid of honor in my best friends wedding. I had a great time there and was glad I got to spend that day with her. And then losing my best friend and the person I cared about a lot in my life. Life is getting better at times, I do have my days where I feel like it won't but I know I need to turn to God when that happens.  I know he has a my life planned out and I can't control that, sometimes I want too and have tried.  Everything happens for a reason and this will make me a stronger person and I know I have to Follow my Heart!  And I have lived by the quote since college. And who knows maybe one day we will be back together but I know I have to live my life and make myself happy!

I can't wait to see what 2011 will be bring to my life and my friends and family!!! Thank you so much to my friends for being there for me in the good times and bad!!!

Almost the end of 2010....

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and received everything you wanted! My Christmas was pretty good. Friday night, Christmas Eve, we all went to church and had a good service and sang Christmas songs. After, my parents and the Packers (Collin, Holly and Maddox) and Collins parents went to dinner at AppleBees! I love that place, ha! We had a good dinner and just hung out for a while.  After, that I went back home and made Reindeer cupcakes for Christmas.  I have been into making cupcakes this past year. Here is a picture of them.

Christmas Day, I didnt wake up right away because the family was not coming over till like 11:30.  So once everyone got there we ate lunch and then opened presents.  Its fun to watch the kids open all there gifts cause they get so excited about the littlest things.  I always get the 3 girls the same thing and the 2 boys the same thing, because its easier so they don't fight over them.  After the kids opened the adults opened all our gifts. I got some good things and even money to go buy more stuff.  Stockings were the last thing and I got lots of jewelry in mine! Once we were all done opening stuff we just hung out the rest of the day. I watched basketball all day, imagine that! HA!   But overall, Christmas was a success and can't wait till next year!!

I can't believe the year is almost over! A lot has gone on this year good and bad.  Maybe I will write in another blog a recap of the year.  Have a great week and can't wait for the new year!!!!

FIESTA BOWL here we come.....BOOMER SOONER

OU is the BIG 12 Champs!!!!

Saturdays game was so fun and also made me sooo nervous!! I watched it with my sisters family and her brother in law and his kids.  We were going crazy. I get wild during the games, yelling at the tv and just cheering loud!! I am so glad we came back and won!!!  It was great game for the last Big 12 Championship.

Also, I made it through one long week.  It was rough but I had lots of support around me. But it will continue to be hard and this time of the year does not help it very much!

I have not written anything in over a month and not a lot has gone on! I did start basketball and that is going really good. I am excited about my team this year. I have all new players and they all get along very well. I also think that we will win more than 3 games but I don't want to get my hopes up.  So that keeps me pretty busy right now and for the next 3 months.  Our first game is next week so hopefully it goes good.

Thanksgiving was good, we had it on Wednesday because my sisters went to there in-laws on Thursday.  The Packers also came over that night and we just ate and talked and looked at shopping ads.  Thursday, I didn't do anything but watch football and lay around, it was a nice day! That night me and Jennifer and HollyP went shopping at 10 pm. We went to the Outlets first so they could get kids clothes and then went to Walmart! We really didn't need anything, we just went for the experience! It was a lot of fun watching how serious other people take it.  I did end up buying all the kids gifts so that was good.  The rest of the weekend I just watched football, there were a lot of exciting games to watch!!! Of course the OU game was great, it did make me nervous for a bit but we finally pulled the Win off! BOOMER SOONER!!! Now off to the Big 12 Championship!!! Cant wait to watch!


Also, this weekend Clint and I broke up.  It is really hard right now for me, but I know God has a plan and I can't worry about it. Yes, that is easier said then done, but I am really going to believe that! Even if we don't get back together I learned a lot from him and he is a great guy that I will never forget! So if you could just pray and I know God is in control!

My Best Friends Wedding

 Its been a while since I have written anything about my life, so I thought I should give an update.

Well about two weeks ago my best friend Chelsea Bryant got married to Ricky and now she is Mrs. Chelsea Coulter!! I went a week before the wedding to help and finish up little things that needed to be done.  There was not a lot to do because most of it Chelsea and her mom had finished.  But we had some things to work on at their house, where Ricky had been living the last year.  We did some decorating with new wedding presents, finished some painting, stained a table, clean out closets, and cleaned the house. It was a fun week, yes there were some ups in downs in the week but that is always expected in the week before a wedding. It was really fun packing for her honeymoon too! After packing for it, I wanted to go along! We also moved her over to her new house and we were like I wonder if Ricky really knows how much stuff you have!  We also had some fun that week and got pedicures with Chelsea's mom on Thursday! Also, on Thursday we had her Bachelorette party with all 9 of the bridesmaids and Chelsea.  It was a lot of fun and I think she really enjoyed it.  Friday, we had a wonderful bridal lunch at her aunts house! The food was great and it was just a nice little setting to relax in and we got robes from Chelsea to wear on the day of the wedding while we got ready!! I love mine, it is lime green with a hot pink D on it!!!  Also, Friday was the rehearsal and that went very smooth and had great BBQ that Rickys mom made for dinner!!!

Saturday was the big day!!! And it was went soooo smooth!!!!!! It was a BEAUTIFUl wedding!!! I truly think Chelsea was the prettiest bride I have ever seen!! Her dress was stunning and everything looked so pretty!! We had a fun time that morning getting ready.  Some of us got our hair and makeup done and we all just hung out and relaxed!!! There was no stress and Chelsea was so calm!!! Thats how it should be on your wedding day!!! Overall the week went great and the wedding was amazing!!!


Also, alot of my friends got to meet Clint for the first time, so that was fun! I was really excited for him to meet them and Chelsea because it was weird that my best friend had never met my bf that I had been dating for over a year!! Of course she approved and I cant wait for the four of us to hang out together one day!!!! And I was happy that Clint and my family drove all the way down to be apart of this big day!! I even had to give a speech at the reception because I was the Maid of Honor and I was so nervous about it all week! But it went really good and I was happy with what I said!!!
